RWJBarnabas Health is hiring passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing team at Jersey City Medical Center, a three-time Magnet®-designated hospital. This is a great opportunity to provide exceptional care in a collaborative, high-performing clinical environment.

We are actively hiring experienced RNs for:

●       Med Surg

●       Emergency Department

●       ICU

●       Post ICU

A typical day in this role includes:

●       Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans

●       Delivering and administering direct patient care in accordance with professional nursing practice standards and within the scope of practice

●       Evaluating patient outcomes and modifying care plans as needed

●       Communicating plans to other members of the care team, including delegating and overseeing performance of tasks where applicable

●       Working cooperatively with the multidisciplinary care team and participating in shared clinical decision-making

●       Documenting all information applicable to patient care

●       Informing and educating patients and family members regarding care plans, including post-discharge

What We’re Looking For:

●       An active RN license

●       A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

●       At a minimum, an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree, although a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred

●       At least 1 year of clinical practice experience in the unit or specialty of interest

●       Additional certifications may be required depending on the nursing specialty
